ISU String Quartet
The Faculty String Quartet at Indiana State University is active both on and off campus, performing music of diverse styles in a variety of venues. In addition to annual recitals at ISU, the quartet has been invited to perform at such events such as the Society of Composers, Inc. Region V Conference, the Resolution 2000 New Music Festival, sponsored by the Louisville Orchestra, and repeatedly at ISU's own Contemporary Music Festival. Recently, the quartet collaborated with percussionist Jimmy Finnie in a performance of Communion, a new work by Chicago composer Regina Harris Baiocchi. In addition to performing, the quartet and its members have been in demand as clinicians for various string events throughout Indiana.
