October 4 2011
October is Physical Therapy Awareness Month and students, faculty, staff and their family members can choose ISU. Most rehabilitation needs can be met right here on campus at the ISU Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic. Clinic staff understands the need to return to work or sport as quickly and safely as possible. The clinic has recently expanded its staff, has new testing equipment in place and now accepts Medicare in addition to most insurances.
Physical therapists and athletic trainers provide treatments to minimize prescriptive pain medications and can offer alternatives to surgical intervention. They will work with you and your physician to help you achieve a healthy, active lifestyle and manage your health over the long term.
Find out more at www.indstate.edu/rehabclinic/ or by calling 237-9613.
The clinic is housed in newly renovated facilities in the Center for Wellness and Applied Medicine (formerly the Student Services Building) and functions with the support of the Department of Applied Medicine and Rehabilitation.
