The Eye on Diversity Series continues with What a Girl Wants video viewing and discussion on Monday, November 26, 2012 in Hulman Memorial Student Union, Dede III from 6 - 7:30 p.m. During the spring of 2000, filmmakers interviewed girls aged 8 to 16 from a variety of socio economic backgrounds about their views on the impact of media culture in their lives. Their responses provide the theme of the film which includes examination of the how media presents girls. The after film discussion will be facilitated by Veanne Anderson, Ph.D., Professor, Psychology Department, and Martha Reed, Career Center, both of Indiana State University.
Admission is free and the event is open to everyone.
