‘Fill the Cart’ drive continues

The "Fill the Cart" drive to raise donations for the Terre Haute Humane Society continues over the next several weeks. The Terre Haute Humane Society receives no government funding and relies heavily on donations and community support. Please help homeless animals this holiday season by participating and giving.

The Cart will be at these locations:

College of Arts and Sciences Dec 3-5- first floor of Stalker Hall

Library Dec. 6-11 - Near the Front Entrance

College of Health and Nursing - Dec. 12-14 - nursing building first floor

College of Technology - Technology Annex 113 - Dec. 17th until picked up by the Terre Haute Humane Society

Also, these two offices will accepted donations the entire time as well as any gift cards Nov. 19-Dec. 20.College of Technology - Office of the Dean - Technology Annex 108Maggie Wheeler - Root Hall - Office A-282

Needed Items:

*Canned Dog or Cat Food: used to give medications "not" fed to the animals, brand not important

*Towels, blankets, spreads, quilts, sheets: new or used

*Bleach: used with every wash load

*Laundry soap

*Paper Towels and trash bags

*Dog and Cat toys: sturdier the better

*Office Supplies: reams of paper, dry erase markers, post-it-notes, pens, tape, etc.

*Cat litter

*Flea treatment for Dogs and Cats (frontline or advantage)

*Heartworm preventative (Heartguard)

*Cleaning supplies: PineSol, Lysol, Dawn dish soap

*Washer and Dryer: standard nothing fancy, we do around 12 loads a day (we have had both die in the last week-no repair possible)

*Walmart Gift Cards (Can be dropped off)
