February is Heart Health month and the Indiana State University Employee Wellness program wants you to take control of your heart health today. By taking control of your life and your health you can prevent heart disease and/or manage any existing conditions. Eat Right. Exercise. Work with your doctor. Join your ISU employee wellness program in this event to learn more about creating a personalized exercise regimen that includes strength building and appropriate modifications for any age, size and gender. Tobacco FREE You-The Nature of Your Addiction

Come out to hear Carrie Evans, UAP family medicine substance abuse counselor, in her presentation on tobacco use and becoming tobacco FREE. She will go in-depth about why people start using tobacco, why it is so addictive, the nature of tobacco addiction, reasons to quit, how to quit and how to stay quit! This will be informative and motivating for any individuals who desire a healthier, tobacco FREE lifestyle.

We are doing this again!! Dr. Kingsley led such an informative and exciting presentation a few weeks ago that we are offering this program again; and, hopefully draw a bigger crowd. You do not want to miss this. He will tell us about the importance of physical fitness for managing and reducing your risk of chronic conditions. Obesity trends are on the rise in America. Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of Americans. We all need to hear this presentation to learn how we can improve our lives and reduce our risk by become more physically fit.
