This free program will be most helpful for full-time teachers, in both public and private schools, who are interested in applying for a 2008 Lilly Teacher Creativity Fellowship, or who would like to explore some of the presentation topics for their own classroom work.
Lilly Endowment Inc., which funds the fellowships for Indiana teachersâ€™ professional renewal projects, each year awards a maximum of 120 grants in the amount of $8,000 each, and up to 10 grants at $25,000 each.
Since the Teacher Creativity Fellowship Program began in 1987, 1,825 Indiana educators have received grants.
Proposals to the Lilly Endowment must be postmarked by November 9, 2007. Recipients will be notified by February 29, 2008. More information is available at http://teachercreativity.org.
