Featured on the program will be the Wind Orchestra, under the direction of John Boyd; and Marching Sycamores, directed by Randy Mitchell with the assistance of graduate conductors Kevin Swift and Eric Drew.
The Wind Orchestra will take the stage first to perform Antonio Rosettiâ€™s â€œPathia in D,â€ â€œConcerto for Euphoniumâ€ by David Gillingham, Fergal Carrollâ€™s â€œWinter Dances,â€ and two works by Dimitri Shostakovich, â€œSymphony No. 5 - Finaleâ€ and â€œGalop.â€
The Marching Sycamores will perform traditional selections such as â€œMarch On,â€ â€œWabash Cannonballâ€ and â€œCheer for the Blue and Whiteâ€ in addition to popular selections such as â€œFrankenstein,â€ â€œMaria,â€ â€œChina Groveâ€ and â€œ1985.â€
Matt Lindley, Lisa Wallyn, and Lisa Thorne serve as drum majors for the Marching Sycamores. Flags and Sparkettes are under the direction of Tamara Schaffer.
Admission is free and open to the public. The ISU chapter of the Kappa Kappa Psi band fraternity will provide a reception following the concert.
