Alumnus George Pillow named to university Board of Trustees

INDIANAPOLIS - Gov. Mitch Daniels announced Friday (Dec. 21) the appointment of George Pillow to the Indiana State University Board of Trustees. Pillow will fill the vacancy left by Joyce Rogers, who resigned effective November 30.

Pillow, an Indianapolis native, is president and chief executive officer of Pillow Express Logistics. Previously, he worked for Xerox Corp. and served as an assistant to former Gov. Robert Orr. Pillow earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana State University and is a member of the ISU Athletics Hall of Fame.

Pillow's appointment is effective immediately and will expire July 1, 2011.
