ISU Masterworks Chorale looking for vocalists

January 4 2006

Indiana State University's Masterworks Chorale, a community choir for the Wabash Valley, is looking for vocalists who love music and are interested in performing.

This 100 - voice symphonic chorus comprised of students, faculty, and community singers, studies and performs choral masterworks with the ISU Symphony Orchestra and professional soloists each semester. The spring program will be a tribute to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as we will celebrate the 250th anniversary of his birth. Specific repertoire will be announced at a later date.

Masterworks' next rehearsal of the season will be Monday, Jan. 9, from 7-9 PM in Room 150 of the Center for the Performing and Fine Arts, located at the corner of Seventh and Chestnut Streets. A $30 activity fee will be assessed to cover musical expenses each semester, unless registered for ISU credit.

Please contact Dr. Scott Buchanan, Director of Choral Activities, director of the Choral/Voice Division, at (812) 237-2763, or by emailing sbuchanan2@indstate.edu
