The ISU Library is presenting a film festival based on (re)makes of films utilizing fear as their theme. Each film was selected for this series for its depiction of fear. We all have fears, but some films are more frightening to us than others. Why? On every Monday the earliest version of the film will be shown and on Wednesdays the later version of the film will be shown. After the showing of the second version of the film a discussion will be lead by a faculty member comparing the two.
There are so many questions arise when one starts to compare the film. Why did they remake the film? Is one film better than the other, and why? Is one film more frightening than the other? How does technology make a difference in the two films? How does the time period that the film was made in make a difference? Come and be scared with us on Mondays and Wednesdays! Light refreshments will be available.
