Who: High school students from throughout Indiana
What: Junior Science and Humanities Symposium-Science Fair
When: 8 - 10:45 a.m. and 1 - 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 10 8 - 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11 Noon Saturday, March 11 (Awards luncheon)
Where: Hulman Memorial Student Union, Dede II
Why: Approximately 60 high school students from throughout the state will take part in this year's Junior Science and Humanities Symposium-Science Fair Indiana regional. The symposium is funded by a grant from the research offices of the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force. Students compete for a total of $4,500 in scholarships at the state level. The top five regional winners will travel to the national symposium April 26-30 in Albuquerque. N.M. At the national event, first and second place regional winners will compete for a top prize worth $16,000.
