TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Indiana State University's Sociology Research Lab has recognized the efforts of one high school student and one elementary school student with its "Best Use of a Survey" award.
Jessica Booker, a sophomore at Northview High School in Clay County, received the senior division award for a survey entitled "A Pixel World." Emma Sperry, a fifth grader at Dixie Bee Elementary School in Vigo County, received the junior division award for "What's Black and White and Read All Over - Assessing the Elderly Mental Acuity Using the Stroop Test."
The awards were presented during the West-Central Regional Science and Engineering Fair at Northview on March 11.
