ISU to host Graduate School Day cookout

Indiana State University's School of Graduate Studies and the ISU Graduate Student Association will host an informational Graduate School Day cookout from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 5 on Dede Plaza outside Hulman Memorial Student Union.

The Graduate Student Association invites ISU undergraduate students and area school teachers as well as students from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, DePauw and Butler universities and IUPUI to check out the variety of opportunities Indiana State has to offer students seeking advanced degrees. The event will also include informational workshops about ISU's admissions process.

The School of Graduate Studies offers more than 40 graduate programs at the master's, education specialist and doctoral levels. Many are nationally and internationally regarded. The school also offers licensure and certificate programs.

Graduate students at ISU experience working and learning in numerous research laboratories, clinical settings, studios and cooperative work settings. Students also enjoy close working relationships with faculty, staff and administrators on and off campus.
