ISU to host Middle School Science Bowl regional

Who: Middle School Science Bowl teams

What: Science Bowl regional

When: Saturday, April 8, 2006, 8:30 a.m. - Noon.

Where: Indiana State University Root Hall, Room AO-11 (basement) (Seventh Street, just north of Shrine Temple)

Why: Two teams from Honey Creek Middle School as well as one team each from Otter Creek Middle School and St. Peter's Lutheran School in Columbus will compete in the regional Science Bowl. The winning team advances to national competition June 21-24 in Denver. Honey Creek captured the 2005 Indiana regional and went on to become the National Middle School Science Bowl academic champion. The National Middle School Science Bowl is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, General Motors, Colorado School of Mines and the Fuel Cell Store.
