"Turbo Charge Your Nursing in Challenging Times," presented in conjunction with National Nurses Week, will offer sessions in outstanding nursing leadership, nursing challenges and responsibilities, optimal ways to address issues and increase communication and how satisfied nurses improve service excellence and patient satisfaction.
In addition to her 20 years of experience as a professional speaker, Mulvaney is the author of several books, including "The Stress Strategist," "Any Kid can be a Super Star," and co-authored "Chicken Soup for the Teacher's Soul." She earned an Ed.M. in Counseling Psychology from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education-Elementary Education from Troy State University.
The program is free and open to Wabash Valley nurses and healthcare providers, but space is limited to the first 150 registrants. Continuing Education credits will be awarded upon completion of the program and written evaluation.
"Turbo Charge Your Nursing in Challenging Times" is sponsored by the Indiana State University College of Nursing, ISU Continuing Nursing Education Program, AP&S Clinic, HealthSouth, Indiana State Nurses' Association District 3, Providence Medical Group, Terre Haute Regional Hospital, Union Hospital Health Group and West Central Indiana Area Health Education Center.
