The performances of the award-winning Caswell Sisters, vocalist Rachel and violinist Sara, are the culmination of years of working together. Their sound, combined with tight arrangements of repertoire ranging from standard songs to bebop to contemporary jazz, is propelled by arresting improvisation. The talented siblings have worked with numerous major jazz figures, have performed in concerts nationwide and have produced highly-acclaimed CDs.

The Caswell Sisters will perform in conjunction with Indiana State University's Jazz Artist Series Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Center for Performing Arts, located at the corner of Seventh and Chestnut streets.
