Media Advisory: HS Science Bowl at ISU Saturday

Who: High school students from around Indiana

What: Science Bowl regional

When: Saturday, Feb. 5, 2006, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Where: Indiana State University Root Hall, Room AO-11 (basement) (Seventh Street, just north of Shrine Temple)

Why: Teams from Terre Haute North Vigo and Terre Haute South Vigo high schools are among those from around the state competing in the regional Science Bowl, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy. The winning team advances to national competition April 27 through May 1 in Washington, D.C. Terre Haute North won last year's regional competition.

Note: Students and teacher-coaches will be available for interviews when their teams are not playing. Best time to catch students will be any time between 8:30 and 11 a.m. Terre Haute North and South each have two teams competing.
