The program, presented by Sister Mary Montgomery, details Guerin's courage, determination, compassion and service to her church and the community. Guerin was the foundress of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. She was an award-winning educator and administrator, a successful businesswoman, naturalist, caregiver and champion of justice.
Attendees are welcome to bring their lunch or purchase a box lunch for $7.50. Box lunches must be reserved in advance by calling Marni Loyd at (812) 237-2335.
Sycamore Showcase at Noon is a regular free event for the Wabash Valley community and the ISU community and is designed to foster collaboration between the two entities.
