Lowery is president and chief executive officer of First Financial Bank and vice chairman and CEO of First Financial Corp.

He understands and supports the role the university can play in improving our local economy, revitalizing downtown and preparing an educated work force. An attorney, Lowery is a member of the national, state and local bar associations, the national and state trial lawyer associations and the Indiana and American Bankers Association. He received his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis.
Lowery is a member of the Terre Haute Economic Development Corp., is past president and board member of the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, past chairman and board member of the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, and past president, board member and past campaign chair of the United Way of the Wabash Valley.
His appointment to the board is effective immediately and will expire July 1, 2007.
