Turman Art Gallery features works inspired by the writings of Gaston Bachelard

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- “Into [the poetics of space],” an exhibit featuring works inspired by the writings of Gaston Bachelard, will be on exhibit in the Turman Art Gallery March 26-29.

Featured artists are students from the advanced and intermediate new media classes, taught by Sala Wong of the Indiana State University art department -- A.J. Babb, Maria Brothers, Etienne Lacey, Jr., Jim Robinson, Tom Sewell and Walter Tinsley.

A reception will be held on Tuesday, March 27 from 4-5 p.m. in Turman Gallery. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

The Turman Art Gallery is located in the Fine Arts Building on the campus of Indiana State. The gallery will be open from 11-4 Monday-Thursday of that week. Call 237-3722 or 237-3787 for more information.
