Indiana State University will conduct a public hearing on Friday, July 10 to receive input on proposed increases in student tuition and mandatory student fees for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 academic years. The hearing will begin at 10 a.m. in the State Room of Tirey Hall.
The proposed effective increase for resident and non-resident tuition and mandatory student fees is 3.9 percent in each of the next two academic years. These proposed increases are based on full-time student enrollment. University officials will provide a brief overview of the budget process and describe how these additional revenues will be used to maintain and improve academic quality before opening the floor for public comments. Each individual is asked to limit comments to three minutes or less.
