Indiana State University's Sycamore Nursing Clinic announces upcoming immunization clinics for students in sixth through 12th grade in an effort to help students get up to date on required vaccinations. Meningococcal (meningitis), varicella (chickenpox) and Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccinations will be provided.
A "Super Shot Saturday" is scheduled for Saturday (Oct. 30) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. followed by another clinic from 4 - 8 p.m. on Nov. 9). Both clinics will take place at Landsbaum Center for Health Education at 1433 N. 6 ½ St. There will be a $5 administrative fee. Recent immunization records are required to receive vaccinations.
Immunizations will be done on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a limit of 200 children on Saturday and 100 on Nov. 9.
