New play readings to be presented at ISU's New Theater

November 29, 2010

ISU theater students will showcase their work and seek feedback from audience members during the 2010 New Play Readings this week.

Performances are scheduled Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in ISU's New Theater. On Dec. 3, students will perform at Swope Art Museum, 25 S. 7th St., as part of Downtown Terre Haute Inc.'s First Friday event.

The works presented at Swope are in response to particular paintings on display at the museum.

Audience response will be solicited after each individual performance, with the feedback intended to benefit student progress.

The students are part of a class taught by Arthur Feinsod, ISU professor of theater with assistance from Benjamin Fulk, a theater major from Brazil.
