Indiana State University's Masterworks Chorale announces its spring schedule of rehearsals which will begin on January 10. The Masterworks Chorale, under the direction Nancy Cobb Lippens, director of the School of Music, will begin rehearsals January 10 at 7 p.m. Rehearsals will be every Monday between January 10 and April 11 from 7-9 p.m. (with the exception of Spring Break on March 7).
The Chorale will perform Parts II and III of Handel's "Messiah" on April 17. Community members are invited to join university students in this "town and gown" performance organization. Those who are not registered for university credit will be asked to pay a $30 fee to help defray the costs associated with preparation and performance of the work.
