One of the most recognized and oft-performed choral works will be performed on Sunday, April 17, at 4 p.m. in Tilson Music Hall on the Indiana State University Campus.
Hear the ISU Masterworks Chorale with orchestra in a performance of Handel's "Messiah," parts 2 and 3. The performance will be conducted by Dr. Nancy Cobb Lippens, director of the School of Music. ISU music faculty Colleen Davis, soprano, Peggy Balensuela, alto, David Mannell, tenor, and Scott Buchanan, bass, are the featured soloists.
The Masterworks Chorale is comprised of ISU students and Wabash Valley community members who rehearse each week during regular terms on Monday evenings.
Tickets are $10 for Adults, $5 for students and free for ISU students and are available both in advance and at the door. For more information and tickets call the School of Music at 812-237-2771.
