Kurt Fowler, Indiana State University School of Music's professor of cello and music literature, will present a recital Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for Performing and Fine Arts' Recital Hall.
The program has a variety of musical styles including a sonata by the Norwegian nationalist composer Edvard Grieg, a Celtic inspired piece by David Eby, music from the Baroque period by Johann Sebastian Bach, and a fusion of traditional Indiana and Western music from composer Asha Srinivasan. Fowler will be joined on stage by Joyce Wilson on flute and Martha Krasnican on piano.
