Author, essayist and social critic Barbara Ehrenreich spoke to students during a morning session Oct. 8 and toured the Debs House during her visit to campus as part of the University Speakers Series. She also spoke to a sizable crowd on Oct. 7 in Tilson Auditorium. Ehrenreich is the author of Nickel and Dimed: on (Not) Getting By in America, this year's selection in Indiana State's Summer Reading Program and in the "If All of Vigo County Read the Same Book" campaign, sponsored by the Vigo County Public Library.
