Indiana State freshman Melanie Boeglin picked up three honors, All-Conference, All-Freshmen and All-Defensive Team, by the Missouri Valley Conference. Joining Boeglin on the All-Conference team is teammate Kourtney Mennen. Joining her on the All-Freshman Team is teammate Lisa Verhoff.

The league’s top coaching honor went to an Indiana State coach for the first time since 1988 as Jim Wiedie led the Sycamores to their first conference title in 15 years.
