Nursing students pay the same University fees as other students as well as clinical education and faculty course fees or program fees (PDF icon) and distance education fees for designated courses. Miscellaneous fees may also be charged for various expenses.

Other expenses specific to the program of study may include preadmission testing, background check, drug testing, cpr certification, immunizations, professional liability insurance, assessment and remediation materials (see ATI Testing Program), uniforms / name pin and equipment as well as books, other instructional materials and supplies.

A computer is necessary for testing programs utilized in the nursing program as well as for completion of many class assignments.  The computer should meet or exceed OIT's recommended configuration. Undergraduate distance students are also required to have a Printer / Scanner / Fax.

There are also fees associated with application for R.N. licensure and licensure examination (NCLEX-RN) as well as certification examinations for master's graduates.
