Bethany Nelms is 22 and a senior in the Nursing Program at ISU. She will graduate in December and plans to work at Methodist for a couple years in ER or ICU. Bethany is from Indianapolis, IN and she lives there with her mother. Her father lives in Cape Coral, Florida. She currently works at Union Hospital as a Patient Care Assistant. Bethany’s career goals consist of being a flight nurse, relocating to Florida to work, becoming a travel nurse, or possibly joining the military to be a nurse. Bethany believes there are so many options and opportunities available, so keeping an open mind is important. Furthering her education is not completely out of the question, but she needs to have a better idea of what she would like to study. Bethany is excited to embark on the life of an RN and she is ready to see what is ahead of her in life.
