Recipient

Katie Roedl is currently working towards a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration with a masters degree with a major in nursing through Indiana State University. She received her BSN from Illinois State University in May 2007. Since then, she has primarily been working at a successful family practice clinic in Effingham, IL. Outside of work and school, Katie and her supportive husband of 3 years just recently became parents to a precious baby girl. Katie hopes to someday continue working as an FNP in her local community. She feels very blessed and wants to thank the scholarship committee for choosing her for this award!
