Jason Heck is non traditional student working as a
PCA at Union Hospital. He has three children and a spouse in the P.A.
program at I.S.U. as well. He would like to thank the responsible party
for inclusion of this scholarship. It is very helpful to continue to
progress in this program.
Tamara Henderson is a second-degree non-traditional
nursing student from Michigan, where she received her first degree in
Business Administration at Central Michigan University. She would
like to continue her education at the graduate level in advanced
practice nursing after receiving her B.S. with a major in nursing in
order to become either a nurse practitioner or a nursing educator.
Tamara is very grateful and thankful to the committee and the donors for
making it possible for her to receive such an honorable award.
Desiree Huebner will be entering her junior/senior level
classes in the fall of 2012. Desiree is daughter of Barbara Huebner and
David Huebner from Noblesville, Indiana. After graduation Desiree wants
to further her education and obtain a master’s degree. Her positive
clinical experiences have encouraged her to become a clinical instructor
when she graduates. She would like to thank the nursing faculty for
always believing and having hope in her and her parents for their
unconditional love and support. Desiree is very grateful for the
wonderful gift of the scholarship and would like to greatly thank the
nursing scholarship committee in regards to the Helen Boswell Robinson
Scholarship.
Katelyn Petrovich will be a senior in the nursing
program in the fall of 2012. Katelyn is from New Carlisle, Indiana
and is the daughter of Doug and Cathy Petrovich. After graduation,
Katelyn hopes to continue with her education and pursue a Master’s
degree in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Nursing.
Katelyn would like to thank her parents and instructors for all of their
support and encouragement. Katelyn would also like to greatly thank The
Nursing Scholarship Committee in regards to the Helen Boswell Robinson
Scholarship.
