Amanda Strain would like to thank the Betty Schobert scholarship donors and the scholarship committee for her scholarship award. Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree (BA) in Special Education, a second BA in Music Performance as well as a Master’s in Voice Performance. She is looking forward to continuing her studies in the area of nursing. Her post-degree goals include working in a surgical setting, becoming a nurse practitioner, and participating in humanitarian aid medical trips.
