Dr. Hall graduated with a BSN from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1997. She completed an MS with a major in Nursing from Indiana State University in 2001 and her PhD in 2010 from Indiana State University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Media Technology. She started as an adjunct instructor at Indiana State University in 2001. Since 2003, she has been the Clinical Coordinator and Instructor in the Family Nurse Practitioner concentration of the Nursing Master's Degree program. As of July 1, 2007, she is an Assistant Professor in the nursing program. As of 2010, she is the FNP Program Director as well.
Lea's areas of interest include teaching with technology and diabetes
prevention and management. She is a member of the
National League for Nursing, Society
of Advanced Practice Nurses, National
Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty,
Phi Kappa Phi
Honor Society, and Who’s Who in Health Science Education.
