Dr. McQuiston completed her Master’s education at the University of Phoenix, and recently completed her Doctoral education at Nova Southeastern University.  Dr. McQuiston’s research interests focus on nursing education with application of innovative teaching methods, peer coaching, and animal therapy. 

Dr. McQuiston is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing –Iota Beta Chapter and the National League for Nursing.
