RN-BS Track of the Baccalaureate Degree Program

Admission to the nursing program involves acceptance into the University and  then into the nursing program.

Prospective students must apply to the University for admission to begin the process of studying nursing at ISU. 

Application and admission to the nursing program occur at various times depending on the program / track to which one is applying. 

University:

To apply for Undergraduate admission to the University, choose the type of admission you are requesting and complete an online application or submit a mail in form.

Nursing program:

Undergraduate

Registered Nurses will be considered for admission to the RN-BS track based on the admission criteria. Applications are due June 1 for admission into the fall semester, November 1 for admission into the spring semester.

To apply for admission to the nursing program as an undergraduate,

  1. complete the application for admission form 
  2. choose SAVE when the dialog box opens if you want to save a completed copy of the form
  3. save the document to a location
  4. from which you will be able to retrieve it if needed
  5. print the application for admission form
  6. sign and date the application for admission form
  7. mail the application for admission form along with copies of the
  8. required documentation indicated on the form and the admission materials worksheet by the deadline indicated above and on the form to:

Note: Official transcripts for undergraduate applicants must be submitted to the Admissions Office.
