Banner 8 Install Instructions

1. Click "Open" or "Run this program from current location" and then "OK", to have the web browser try and open the file.
2. Click "Yes" to import registry information.
3. Click "OK"  when registry import is done.
4. Close notepad when done reading install information.

Option 2

Use if Option 1 does not work for you

1. Open the "Start" menu
2. Select the "Run" option
3. In the "Open" box type: \\emprodv\emprod\Oracle\Config\banner_install.bat
4. Click "Yes" to import registry information.
5. Click "OK" when registry import is done.
6. Close notepad when done reading install information

For Macintosh users:

1. Install the newest release of Netscape, or Firefox on your machine.
2. Follow the link: http://banforms.indstate.edu:7777/prod

This will allow access to forms only. It will not install ODBC access to the databases.

All systems normal.
