Academic Technology Resource Center

The Academic Technology Resource Center (ATRC) is a facility which provides a technology-focused environment to meet the multimedia development needs of students on ISU's campus. The ATRC is aligned with the IT Student Education Program to offer more opportunities for students to build technology-related skills.

Student Training Assistants provide support in the ATRC for those students who need assistance with multimedia projects. Evening workshops are also held in the center.

The available resources include; 12 PCs, digital video and still cameras, scanners, digital video editing equipment and software, and multimedia and statistical software.

Location:
Students are encouraged to take advantage of this facility located in the lower level of Normal Hall in room 120.

Hours:
The center is opened from 8:00a.m. -4:30p.m. Monday-Friday. Closed on all University holidays.

Use Policy:
The facility is self-service and there are no charges for use or output, except for printing. Students must bring their own storage media (DVD-R, CD-R, CD-RW, or flash drive). The Center cannot provide blank video tapes, compact discs, or mini-DVDs for projects.
