Windows XP
Follow the following steps to upload security files for Windows XP:

- If your computer is running extremely slow, please unplug your network cable before installing the following files.
- Click on the links below in the order they are shown and follow
the instructions listed out for each one.
- After you have completed all of the steps, (if your port has been deactivated) call the Help Desk at 812-237-2910 to have your network port reactivated.
1. Stinger
- Click the link above (1. Stinger) to run this executable file.
- If Windows XP prompts with a security warning, click Run.
- If Internet Explorer prompts with a security warning, click Run.
- The program will begin.
- Click Scan Now to begin scanning your computer for known viruses, trojans, and variants.
2. Service Pack 2
- Click the link above (2. Service Pack 2) to run this executable file.
- If Windows XP prompts with a security warning, click Run.
- If Internet Explorer prompts with a security warning, click Run.
- The file will then extract.
- At the "Welcome to Setup Wizard" screen, click Next.
- Read and agree to the license agreement, check the "I Agree" box
and
click Next.
- At the "Select Options" screen, click Next.
- Once finished, you will be asked to reboot your computer.
3. AutoPatcher XP
- Click the link above (3. AutoPatcher XP) to run this executable file.
- If Windows XP prompts with a security warning, click Run.
- If Internet Explorer prompts with a security warning, click Run.
- Click on the "I Accept the AutoPatcher End-User License Agreement" button and
click Next.
- Click Update.
- Click Finish.
- Once finished, you will be asked to reboot your computer.
