Getting Internet Access in your Office

If you have received a new computer in your office you should contact the Technology Assistance Group to have the computer setup  The LAN jack in the office should already be active.  If you cannot connect your computer to the network via the LAN jack contact the Technology Assistance Group at x2910.  If you need a new LAN jack installed contact Telco at x8000.

BootP Registration Request

In order to use a wired connection to the internet in campus buildings (except Residence Halls, Family Housing) you must register your machine's network card's MAC (physical) address in the BootP server. Contact the Technology Assistance Group at x2910 to start the process.

To find your NIC/Ethernet address please choose your Operating System:

Lan Jack Activation and/or Installation Request
Have an existing LAN jack activated or new jack installed. Note: there is a charge for new jack installations.
