Click on the following text: \\emprodv\emprod\Oracle\Config\banner_install.bat.
Click "Open" or "Run this program from current location" and then "OK", to have the web browser try and open the file.

Click "Yes" to import registry information.

Click "OK" when registry import is done.

Close notepad when done reading install information.

Option 2 -- Use if Option 1 does not work for you

Open the "Start" menu

Select the "Run" option

In the "Open" box type: \\emprodv\emprod\Oracle\Config\banner_install.bat

Click "Yes" to import registry information.

Click "OK" when registry import is done.

Close notepad when done reading install information

For Windows users

After installation, the first time forms are ran on your machine you will be prompted to install jinitiator. You must install this for forms to work. An installation page with screen shots is located at \\emprodv\emprod\ora8i\config\Banner7jinit.rtf

For Macintosh users:

Install the newest release of Netscape, or Firefox on your machine.
Follow the link: http://banforms.indstate.edu:7777/prod

This will allow access to forms only. It will not install ODBC access to the databases.
