Connecting to the Network

Connecting My Game Console to the Network

In order to connect your game console (X-Box, PS3, Wii, etc) to the ISU network this is what you need to do:

  • Make sure the game console is connected to the network via an ethernet cable. ISU does not allow wireless connnection of game consoles.

All game consoles have an exemption in Cisco Clean Access (CCA) so you should be able to use it without any further setup. If you find you still cannot connect to the Internet via your game console you can contact the Help Desk at x2910. They will need to know the type of gaming console (X-Box, PS3, Wii, etc) and the MAC address of the game console.
