This department of the
Office of
Information Technology implements and maintains the
campus-wide infrastructure for the delivery of technology
and technology-based services. We are organized into the

Network
Engineering Services
Gerry Oliver, Assistant Director
This unit researches, specifies, and implements network
hardware and software to support the delivery of
electronic data and video.

Telecommunications Services
Tim Cottom, Assistant Director
This unit installs and maintains the telephone-based
system as well as the cable infrastructure that supports
all technologies including data and video.
- Technical Support and Operations
Jerold Hargis, Assistant Director
This unit installs and maintains the hardware and
operating system software for all IT central servers
including those which deliver Banner, WebCT, CourseInfo,
the University web pages, the MyISU portal, LAN
services, mail gateways, and other network-based
services.
