Group Portals
Click the Groups icon on the top navigation bar to join an existing online community or start a new one. A Group Portal is a special place for members to chat online, post documents and photos, schedule meetings and other activities to keep up with one another. Membership to these groups is either public (open to anyone with a MyISU portal account) or restricted (available to officially sanctioned ISU groups for MyISU portal account holders). Read through the online tutorial and use the Help system to learn more about the exciting options within the Group Portal system. Group Leaders and those they delegate with group portal administration rights should also read the Group and Course Leader Administration Guide, (pdf), to learn about how to manage the portal website and memberships. This document provides snapshots of the system and walks you through how to set up your portal website and all of the individual features within it. |
