uplinks, etc.) see (additional contact numbers) .
- Save files and power down remaining office computers.
- In the Gillum Hall duplication/satellite racks, leave Leitch router, message channel computer, video

- Retain power to master sync/test generators and changeover, master clock, SCOLA receivers, modulators,
cable distribution equipment, and baseband fiber frames.
UPS NOTES:
-
At this load the Dreiser
Hall UPS has a calculated eighteen-hour reserve with little rise in the ambient temperature. Upon automatic
shutdown of the UPS when the batteries reach maximum discharge the cable system will fail. The master clock
has its own battery backup that has another ten hours of reserve.
-
The Gillum Hall UPS in the duplication/satellite
equipment area has a calculated runtime of three hours at this load and is fed from the generator in Gillum
Hall.
Resume power from University Level 3 – Requires minimum two hours from notification.
Notes:
-
It is assumed that the DE classes would be canceled at level
3.
-
It is assumed that WISU-FM would be shut down at level 3.
-
Notification list will be
required for power down and power up.
-
Initial Video Engineering Services notification would be to Jeff
Steinmiller with Jack Williams as an alternate in my absence. The alternate or myself would notify the rest
of Video Engineering Services.
-
Pagers will be carried by all Video Engineering Services personnel until
all equipment and systems are powered up and checked for proper operation after a Level 3 has passed.
