This upgrade requires a system replacement - vendor engineering personnel will be on campus to perform the upgrade beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The phone number(s) for voice mail will remain the same.
Because this is a system replacement it will be necessary to establish a new voice mailbox and record a new greeting. The first time you access your voice mailbox after the upgrade you will need to enter the password 1234. Follow the voice wizard to create a greeting and password. Users with a tree mailbox will need re-recorded the messages for each box.
Due to the transient nature of voice mail, messages in your voice mailbox at the time of upgrade will not transfer. Please be sure to retrieve any information from the old system by the morning of Nov. 18th as there will be no way to recover messages once the system replacement is complete.
All students in residence halls or University Apartments that currently
have voice mail will have a voice mail box on the new system.
Students who
do not have voice mail and would like to add it to their telephone service
at no charge need to file a request at
http://www.indstate.edu/oit/voicemail_request.htm
If you are not in a single room all students in the room must agree to have
voice mail.
If you are experiencing trouble with your voice mail, contact the Voice Mail Help Desk at 237-3038 or e-mail tlchelp@indstate.edu.
