OIT Student COMPUTER Support Center
The Student Computer Support Center is a carry-in software support service for Indiana State students
who are currently registered. Most services are free. The Student Computer Support Center is located in the Stalker Hall lower level, room 009. It can be reached at extension 8800.

To receive service, bring the following items with you:
- Your Student ID
- Your Computer
- Power cord (if laptop)
Only carry-in service is available. For telephone technical support and other information, contact the OIT Help Desk at extension 2910.
The Computer Support Center can help with:
Connectivity and operating system issues such as:
- Network setup and connectivity problems
- Viruses or Malware Removal
- Error Messages
- Operating System Upgrades and Reformats ($30 fee if not an ISU-APPROVED Laptop)
- Software Installation
- Scholarship and LRP Warranty Hardware Repair
- Limited Mobile Device support for Campus Wifi and Sycamore Email

- Account Lockout and Password Reset Assistance
- MSCA Software for Distance Ed. Students
- Loaner Laptops for approved Hardware that is in for repair - Limited Availability
- General Knowledge Questions
The Student Computer Support Center cannot help with:
Hardware problems of any kind, with the exception of
ISU-APPROVED Dell Laptops in warranty.
