Windows 98

Logging In

  1. When starting a machine that is powered off, press the power button.
  2. Windows 98 screen appears. Do NOT make any entries during this step.
  3. Novell Client 32 screen appears. Do NOT make any entries during this step.
  4. The next screen to appear is the Novell NetWare Login window.
    Click on the button Advanced.

To login to Amber type the Tree ISUTREE and the context AMBSERV. Click OK to finish logging in.
To login to Befac, type BEFSERV. To login to Ruby, type RUBSERV. To login to Scifac, type SCISERV.

5.  Make sure that the correct Tree and Context is set (see above). Type in your username and password and click OK to finish logging in.

6. Set Windows Password window appears. Click Cancel or press the Esc key.

Logging Out

  1. Click on the Start button.
  2. Select "Shut Down..."
  3. Select "Close all programs and log on as a different user?"
  4. Select "Yes."

Windows 2000/XP

Logging In

  1. When starting a machine that is powered off, press the power button.
  2. Windows XP screen appears. Do NOT make any entries during this step.
  3. Novell Client 32 screen appears. Do NOT make any entries during this step.
  4. The next screen to appear is the Novell NetWare Login window.
    Click on the button Advanced.
     

To login to Amber type the Tree ISUTREE and the context AMBSERV. Click OK to finish logging in.
To login to Befac, type BEFSERV. To login to Ruby, type RUBSERV. To login to Scifac, type SCISERV.

5.  Make sure that the correct Tree and Context is set (see above). Type in your username and password and click OK to finish logging in.

6.  When the Enter your Workstation Password window appears, type the correct username and password for your Windows XP or 2000 workstation and click OK.

Logging Out

  1. Click on the Start button.
  2. Select "Shut Down..."
  3. Select "Close all programs and log on as a different user?"
  4. Select "Yes."
