Setting up your iPhone or iPad for the Sycamores email is a very
quick and easy process. The following
instructions will allow your iPhone or iPad to access your Sycamores
email.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Whenever you change your password in Portal you MUST change it on your
phone as well. Failure to do so will cause your email account to be
locked due to too many bad password attempts.

1. Select the Settings app on your device.
2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Select Add Account...
4. Select Other
5. Select Add Mail Account
5. Select Add Mail Account
6. Enter the following information
Name Your name Address portal id@sycamores.indstate.edu Password your portal password Description anything you want to call your account Press Next to continue.
7. Select POP and scroll down
8. Enter the following information
Under Incoming Mail Server:
Host Name pod51010.outlook.com
User Name portal id@sycamores.indstate.edu
Password your portal password
Under Outgoing Mail Server:
Host Name pod51010.outlook.com
User Name portal id@sycamores.indstate.edu
Password your portal password
Press Save to verify and finish.
