When the Network Connection window opens as shown in Figure 2d (Yours should look similar but you may have other connections present) double click on Local Area Connection.

Click on the Support tab

After you have clicked on the Support tab it should look like Figure 2f
Click on the Details button as shown in Figure 2f

The Physical Address is your Ethernet Adapter (Hardware) address, this is the number the IT Help Desk will need to register your computer in the BootP server.
